More turmoil appears set to hit the City of Perth, with a group of councillors understood to be pushing to roll the acting City of Perth chief executive Robert Mianich — just days after he was appointed to the role.

The ABC understands the move will be made at a special council meeting called for tomorrow night.

A majority of councillors is believed to be unhappy that previous City of Perth chief executive Martin Mileham appointed Mr Mianich to act in his role before Mr Mileham took indefinite personal leave to deal with health issues last week.
