Perth weather: Dry, warm March for WA

WARM and dry was the theme for the month just passed, with WA reporting its warmest March for more than a decade.

The Bureau of Meteorology has released its climate summary for March that showed WA’s rainfall was below average and the driest in four years.

Across the state, the mean maximum temperature for WA was 1.67C above average, the seventh-highest in March on record and highest since 2005.

In the South West Land Division, which includes Geraldton, Perth and Albany, the mean was 1.27C above average, and warmest for four years.
