Last year Mike and I bought a house down the street from the previous one we rented. It was a dream come true as we accomplished three things, staying in the same neighbourhood, purchasing a house, and getting a bigger space. Although we had to move quite near, the process was still time-consuming, hectic and stressful. Our routine, along with the kids and Ronny (our labradoodle) were disrupted.
