Attendance records in sight as Australia and New Zealand unveil exciting 2023 Women’s World Cup visions

Football Federation Australia (FFA) and New Zealand Football (NZF) have unveiled their big plans to co-host the Women’s World Cup in 2023.
Australia and New Zealand recently announced they were joining forces in a bid to host the first ever Women’s World Cup in the southern hemisphere.

Now the tasman nations have revealed their visions for the tournament, including using venues in all six Australian states as well as playing the final in the newly-renovated 75,000-seat stadium at Sydney’s Olympic Park.

The plan would see also the tournament’s opening game take place in Auckland at the world-famous Eden Park.
